The staff was lovely and we would still consider staying here again. Hotel was incredibly beautiful, rooms were adequate and stunning. Units with free ice cream machine.

Absolutely perfect and stunning location short walk to the traditional Japanese garden, Nanzenji Temple and Okazaki-Jinja Shrine which is within walking distance and the Zoo. Outstanding food, excellent service.

Location: the hotel was so close to Nanzenji temple and the start of Philosophers Way which were beautiful and a beautiful shrine and garden. The room was a nice size and newly renovated in general, with garden view. The atmosphere created was relaxing.

Tbh, the hotel is a little run down, nonetheless it has breathtaking views. The building is beautiful, the room is a nice size. Really helpful staff provides an excellent service. The ambiance is relaxing!
The bathrooms are very small.

My a nice size and recently renovated room came with a private bath, free ice cream machine. It was in a secluded setting to other neighborhoods nearby. The staff was very friendly and attentive all the time.
